Amsted Rail is thrilled to announce our GSI transit truck set has been recognized as Newcomer of the Year in the American Foundry Society’s 2024 Casting of the Year Competition. All winners were selected by a blue-ribbon panel of independent judges with expertise in metalcasting design and production.
The transit truck assemblies are manufactured at our plant in Granite City, Illinois. Amsted Rail is the only US provider of cast steel bogie designs with the in-house capability to provide the complete assembled bogie, fully validated with all product static and dynamic testing.
